Description
Wetcat towels are pre-shrunk — they’re originally woven at ~230 cm (91") and then washed down to about 180 cm (71"). So any additional shrinkage after you launder them is usually under 2%. Just wash cold or warm, tumble-dry low, and they’ll stay true to size.
OEKO-TEX certification is about chemical safety. It ensures a product is free from over 300 harmful substances like:
- Formaldehyde
- Pesticides
- Heavy metals (lead, cadmium)
- Carcinogenic dyes
- Phthalates & allergenic compounds

Some brands reference their yarn supplier’s OEKO-TEX certificate—but that doesn’t mean the final towel is certified. Why? Because chemical exposure often happens during the dyeing and finishing stages, not just with raw yarn. That’s why full product testing matters.
